“Sacred Us”
I love my walks at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami, Florida. One day on a visit, I observed the beauty of the Cannonball Flowers. I later learned that the Cannonball flowers is a sacred flower in different parts of the world. Spiritual and respected in Brazil by the Chamans, venerated and sacred in India. Since I saw it for the first time I felt an special connection that I decided to paint them with the utmost respect and to the best of my abilities.
This painting was exhibited at The Museum at FIT in New York City.
